Linda Your Questions About Maclaren Strollers

Linda asks…

15 month old wont sit in stroller?

My daughter is 15 months and will not sit in her stroller. I can not even get her out of her car seat without her throwing a huge fit when she sees she’s going in her stroller. (I’m talking Reagan from The Exorcist) Then I always get those disapproving stares from other people who are around. I have tried everything… I even went and bought the best umbrella stroller I could afford (Maclaren Volo) I’m bummed because I really want to take her to fun places like the zoo and the aquarium but I cannot carry her due to a back injury. Not only is it embarrassing but its discouraging too. Will I ever be able to do fun things with her?

*Side Note* She goes in the stroller just fine for our nanny. They go for walks almost everyday and she never throws a fit getting in her stroller. It just seems to be with me out in public icon sad Your Questions About Maclaren Strollers

Ask nanny what she does? I think I’d be more tempted however, topop a pair of reins on her and let her walk. Just take the pushchair with you. Tell her she can walk to the next lampost or something she can see, and then she has to have a ride, and you will let her walk again on the way back.

Oh, and ignore those stares from others, they’re probably remembering the days when their little one used to throw a paddy and are in fact full of sympathy icon wink Your Questions About Maclaren Strollers

best Double twin stroller?

i have twin 4 month old i am looking for the best double stroller out there for my money. i hear side by side are best for twins but they dont fit anywhere. i was looking for a SMALL front to back stroller that isn’t to big when folded any suggestions? Why can’t Maclaren make a front to back double stroller that would solve all my problems

Admin Your Questions About Maclaren Strollers

admin answers:

I have twin 2 year olds and I’ve been using a Graco Duo Glide since they were babies. It fits Graco car seats that snap into it until they’re old enough to sit up. It’s not a side by side stroller, so it fits everywhere, through all doors. It easily folds up small enough to fit in a car trunk, and it’s pretty durable. I’ve never had to replace mine or fix anything on it. I love it and I’d highly recommend it. I have a fellow twin mommy friend who uses the same stroller for her twins and she loves it, too.

Anyone have a chicco stroller?

I”m 5’11 and my husband is 6’5, anyone this tall ever tried it? We can’t find an affordable stroller that has taller handles. I have heard maclaren is tall, but that’s way out of our price range…even used. THANKS

admin answers:

I don’t have a chicco- but we do have a Graco and it’s tall- my husband is 6’3″. At Babies R Us they do sell extensions for strollers as well.

Double Stroller… What to buy and not to buy.?

I am looking for a double stroller. I recently purchased a Peg Perego Aria Twin but, after using it for awhile with one child I found it to be a pain in the behind.

We need something that a Peg Perego car seat can fit. Also my first child is 21 months. I was thinking about getting a Maclaren Twin but, those don’t take car seats so I am at a loss on what to buy.

Admin Your Questions About Maclaren Strollers

admin answers:

Get one where you can put the child one in front of the other, do not buy the kids where the kids sit side by side. You cannot fit a lot of places, especially in stores etc. Good Luck!

Can’t decide on which stroller to purchase……?

Between the Maclaren Techno XT, Maclaren Techno XLR and Peg Perego Pliko P3, which one is more worth the money? Meaning comfort, easy to use, weight/size, overall….

Admin Your Questions About Maclaren Strollers

admin answers:

I would go with the Peg Perego Pliko P3 because it looks like it’d be more comfy for the baby and more worth the money…the other two don’t look as comfy. They in the end all look like they’d be the same with how easy they can be used but as stated above if you’d want something to jog in I’d get a different brand. Not to mention I like how the Peg Perego Pliko P3 looks icon smile Your Questions About Maclaren Strollers but that’s just a plus.
